It also provides for the demolition of the six existing buildings within the footprint of the project. The barracks work includes living/sleeping areas, baths, walk-in closets & balconies for new exterior entrances to each room. The eight company operations buildingss will be consolidated in an area removed from the barracks. They will include showers and dressing areas. The two soldier community buildings include social gathering areas, recreational and meeting spaces, laundry facilities, mail boxes, kitchens, activity rooms, linen issue, managers office and bulk storage. The dining facility will provide access for the handicapped. Intrusion detection system (IDS) is required. A central cooling plant is to be provided. Supporting facilities include fire protection and alarm systems, HVAC, utilities, electric service, paving, walks, information systems, site improvements, pavilions with barbeque grills and landscaping. Demolition of existing buildings includes asbestos and lead based paint removal. Drawings are full-size only at a cost of $430.00.
