Work consists of 2 floating bulkheads, 5 flow deflectors (to be installed by April 1, 1997), 2 flow deflectors (to be installed by May 1, 1997) (optional), 11 flow deflectors (to be installed by April 1, 1998), modify dewatering system and construct flow deflector on bay 20, and construct flow deflector on bay 1 by April 1, 1998 (optional). To be eligible for award, offeror must have specialized expertise in this type of construction based on successful performance of similar projects. Contractor is required to commence work within 10 calendar days after receipt of Notice to proceed, complete the flow deflector construction work not later than April 1, 1998 and the final cleanup and demobilization by June 1, 1998.
