Contractor shall remove the existing black iron chill/hot water supply and return pipe lines for the cooling/heating system, including all piping in the chilled/hot water loop beneath the building in the boiler room. Replace the isolation valves for the boiler and the circulating pump with full port ball valves. Replace the pipe line strainer assembly with drain valve on the suction side of the circulating pump. Install an electrical three-way valve and a summer/winter switch in the boiler room. Secure and abandon in-place the existing pneumatic controls, including associated equipment and appurtenances. Provide new glass insulation with vapor barrier and aluminum jacketing on existing exterior chilled water piping and patch hole in brick wall where chilled water piping penetrates. Provide new cellular glass insulator with vapor barrier on interior chilled/hot water piping in mechanical room. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside under Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
