The Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE) issued a solicitation on 24 June 1996 for construction services at Plattsburgh AFB, Clinton County, NY for work to be performed at two hazardous waste sites as identified on the National Priorities List (NPL). The work consists of all the following principal activities: clear, grub, fill, and grade areas designated for landfill construction; construct 12'' soil cover to include 3'' topsoil and vegetative cover; construction of drainage systems; and off-site disposal of landfill waste which protrudes and/or rests on top of the existing ground surface. A Site Inspection/Visit will be conducted at Plattsburgh AFB, Bldg 426, 426 US Oval, Suite 2210, 9 am on 10 July 1996. All interested offerors will be provided an opportunity to view the sites. Additionally, a brief overview of the solicitation will be conducted by the Contracting Officer at this time. Please Fax Mr Al Horner at 518-563-3025 by 3 July 1996 to register for this event. Fax shall include Company name and number of attendees. All interested offerors who intend to submit a proposal for this effort are required to attend the site inspection/visit.
