This project consists of 1) reconstructing 550 ft. of road and constructing a parking area, ramp, loading area; 2) constructing a dock which includes furnishing and installing 120 ft. of timber approach walkway and a 48 ft. x 36 ft. float and installing a Government-furnished 65-1/2 ft. steel gangway; 3) constructing a shot rock pad, approximately 50 ft. x 100 ft. x 2 ft. deep; and 4) removing or repairing 5 drainage structures. The work is located in Margaret Bay, on Revilla Island, approximately 20 air miles from Ketchikan, Alaska. Access to Margaret Bay from Ketchikan is by float plane or boat. Work Items 1 through 3 are located at the Margaret Bay Log Transfer Facility (LTF). Work Item 4 is located approximately 5 miles south of Margaret Bay on shot rock roads.
