The scope of work consists of clearing existing wooded area, excavation, fill and grading, minor landscaping, constructing storm water retention; constructing approximately 3,000 SF building with concrete slab on grade, reinforced concrete masonry walls, pre-engineered wood roof trusses and plywood roof sheathing, stucco exterior finish, aluminum frame storefront entrances, painted metal roofing and soffits, glued down carpet tile, painted gypsum board on metal stud partitions, suspended acoustical ceiling, and men and women restrooms; providing approximately 10-ton HVAC, ductwork, and control; providing all the plumbing fixtures and piping for potable water, sewage, restrooms, and breakroom; and providing 75 kVA pad-mounted transformer, 200 amp power panel, fire alarm system, fluorescent light fixtures, grounding and lightning protection, and all necessary conduit, wire and receptacles. Period of performance is 270 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date of 8 Aug 96 and bid opening date of 10 Sep 96 are tentative. The applicable SIC code and size standard for this acquisition are 1541/$17M. The estimated range of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation is unrestricted.
