Provide all design engineering, labor, equipment, materials, calibration, testing, and training for the replacement of the existing cathodic protection system at Facilities 1049, 29151, 40909, 70521, 16300, 16301, and 16302. Further, Facility 1713 shall have a new disconnect switch, panelboard, remote monitoring system and a new rectifier added to the existing cathodic protection system including all testing and calibrations. The systems shall be automatically controlled impressed current type with remote monitoring capability including the interface modem. Further, the work shall include the removal and replacement of the supply conductors, with other associated electrical work, and the placement of communication cables from the remote monitors to the phone terminal boards, with all associated work. The connection of the communication cables to the phone system shall be by others. All communication and phone lines shall be protected with transient voltage surge suppressors. Period of performance is 240 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date of 30 Jul 96 and bid opening date of 30 Aug 96 are tentative. The applicable SIC code and size standard for this acquisition are 1731/$7M. The estimated range of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation is unrestricted.
