The work also includes the installation of 300 linear feet of new double-walled underground heating oil and diesel fuel piping, backfilling of the excavation and installation of two new leak detection and tank gauging systems serving the new piping and two remaining existing underground tanks. Removal and disposal of 20 cubic yards of contaminated soil from the excavation is included as an optional bid item should any soil contamination be discovered during the work.
