Heath The project will upgrade the underground electrical distribution system in the 4200 Weapons Area in order to provide a tie between Feeder No. 4 and 6. Upgrade the underground electrical distribution systems in the North Weapons Storage Area inorder to eliminate inadequate sized manholes. Replace round manholes MH 4-45 through MH4-53 with full size manholes. Replace existing primary conductors with new conductors. remove existing ductbanks and construct new ductbanks as necessary toimprove system order. The project will upgrade the underground electrical distribution system in the Alert Apron Area in order to eliminate taped ''T'' splices in manholes, to eliminate inadequately sized manholes/handholes, to eliminate the clutter thatpresently exist where secondary and communication cables are installed in the same manhole/handles as primary conductors, and to eliminate the backfed primary circuits that supplied emergency power to the Alert Apron Lighting Transformers. Thissolicitation has been classified as UNRESTRICTED pursuant to Public Law 100-656. Estimated Cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Estimated duration of the contract is 180 days for completion.
