Harbage THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED. The work will be performed in
phases. PHASE 1; includes all the work on building 1: install four new
heaters, ventilating and air conditioning units, new duct work for the
air handling unit, new steam/condensate piping and fire alarm system.
PHASE 2; includes all the work in Bldgs 2, 3, 4, & 5: replace fire
alarm system in Bldgs 2 & 3, add fire alarm devices in Bldg 5, tying
the alarm systems to the central panel at Bldg 1. Architectural door
and hardware replacement in Bldg 4, install sprinkler system in Bldg.2,
extend coverage of the sprinkler system in Bldg 3, replace exit lights
in Bldgs 2 & 3 and incidental related work. The estimated construction
cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Plans and Specs will be
available on 15 July 96 and BOD is on 14 Aug 96. A non-refundable
charge of $45 per solicitation package is required and checks should be
made payable to the Dept of Treasury c/o EFA Chesapeake. Request for
plans and specs may be submitted in writing to the above address.
Contractors in the local area are encouraged to pickup a copy of the
solicitation at Bldg 212, Washington Navy Yard, Plans and
Specifications Issuance Office. FACSIMILE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED.
