Immigration and Naturalization Service plans to competitively award a
three year contract (base year plus two option years) for a turbine air
filtration system and spare elements for OH6 helicopters. The fixed
price type contract will include requirements for up to 40 air
filtration systems within the next three (3) years, deliverable within
30 days of receipt of order. The turbine air filtration system must
have a capture efficiency rating of 99% of the airborne contaminants.
The system must function properly with up to 75% filter blockage prior
to activating the filter light. The filter element must be easily
removable and can be cleaned with household citrus cleaner and water.
The system must include an air flow pressure sensor indicator and a
pilot activated door that enables air flow to bypass the filter if
necessary. The air filtration system must include a written warranty
covering filter elements for 1000 hours or two (2) years under normal
operating conditions; filter housing and all related non-electrical
components for two (2) years; and electrical components for one (1)
