Maples, Contracting Officer This notice constitutes Amendment No. 1 to
the RFQ for Video and Fiberoptic Cabling -- Companies shall
acknowledge the amendment in their quote -- This notice serves as the
only amendment to the solicitation and a written amendment will not be
issued -- The purpose of this amendment is to (1) answer questions
that were received and (2) extend the due date for receipt of quotes --
The due date for receipt of quotes is extended until July 5, 1996 --
The following is the official response to questions received: -
Question 1: Reference items 1-5 and item 10, please advise if alternate
jacket colors, i.e. black, are acceptable for these items -- Answer:
Black is acceptable as the alternate jacket color for items 1-5 and
item 10 - Question 2: Are 1,000 feet reels acceptable? -- Answer: All
rolls of cable are to be 1,000 feet in length. The words reel and roll
are used interchangeably -- Companies shall provide information as
stated in the synopsis/RFQ published in the CBD on June 17, 1996 and on
the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on June 12, 1996 --
