(Site Code DADA16) The Microbiology Section within the Dept of Pathology, Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii has a requirement for various quantities of antibiotic test cards, test kits, and reagents used for identifying and performing susceptibility testing on microorganisms recovered from clinical samples. These diagnostic microbiology tests will be performed using govt-owned Mitek Microbiology Analyzer System 240/IMS and Immunodiagnostic Assay System Vidas-AO. The government intends to negotiate solely with Biomerieux Vitek Inc., of 595 Anglum Dr., Hazelwood, MO 63042 for a firm fixed-price requirements contract for the base year FY 97 plus (4) option years, under the authority of FAR 6.302.1.
