J -- MAINTENANCE OF SIEMENS SOMATOM HI-Q S, CT SOL 517 DUE 071896 POC David Kekel, Contract Specialist (304)255-2121 ext 4136 The VA Medical Center, Beckley, WV intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Siemens Medical Systems, Pittsburgh, PA for maintenance and repair of Government owned Siemens Somatom HI-Q S, CT Scanner System. The Contractor will be required to provide routine and emergency repair and maintenance service. This will include parts, planned maintenance, authorized service upgrades, all software licenses, and unlimited xray tube replacement. Siemens is the manufacturer of this equipment and maintains all proprietary rights of this system. Contract will be from October 1, 1996 to September 30, 1997 with two (2) renewal years. Interested parties must reply in writting within 15 days from date of publication with qualifications/capabilities (i.e. training, experience, references) in the maintenance of this particular piece of equipment.
