Q -- REMOVAL OF REGULATED MEDICAL WASTE AND CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE SOL DADA09-96-R-0013 DUE 080296 POC Contract Specialist ALICE LOPEZ (915) 569-2934 (Site Code DADA09) Nonpersonal services to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to collect, transport, and dispose of infectious medical waste from William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso, TX, to a medical waste treatment and disposal facility licensed under state law. The contractor shall be a state registered/licensed medical waste hauler. A copy of the license shall be provided to the contracting officer along with the offer. Contractor shall also treat medical waste to render it non-infectious, and dispose of any treated wastes in accordance with state law. Payment for services will be made on a per pound basis. It is estimated that approximately 97,000 lbs of medical waste will be generated by this hospital per year. Contract period is o/a 1 February 1997 through 31 January 1998 with option years. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. See numbered Note 1.(0183)
