The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a service contract for trash removal and containment for the Federal Correctional Institution, Federal Prison Camp, and Staff Housing sites, State Route 716, Ashland, KY 41101. Services include, but are not limited to furnishing, installing and maintaining one 30 cubic yard, self contained, closed compacting container with a compaction capacity of at least 20 tons; furnishing, installing and maintaining two 20 cubic yards open top containers; furnishing, installing and maintaining 14 residential containers located at 14 staff housing sites; furnishing, installing and maintaining 3 eight cubic yard open top containers with lids at the Camp site. The staff housing sites are located immediately adjacent to the Federal Correctional Institution. The contract period will include a base year, not to exceed twelve (12) months from date of award, with four (4) one (1) year option periods for renewal. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is July 24, 1996, with an anticipated receipt of offers due by August 27, 1996.
