The work of this contract shall consist of furnishing all skilled labor and supervision, supplies, materials, services and coordination to provide proper surface preparation, including stripping various exterior wood surfaces, prime painting and finish painting. Exterior wood surfaces to be stripped on the Beedle House (HS-12) include wood trim and several windows of the historic, 2-story, wood frame house. Approximately 4,500 square feet of exterior surface is to be repainted. Metal gutters and downspouts shall also be stripped. Stripped and unstripped surfaces, including two porches, shall be given one coat of primer paint and two finish coats of exterior paint. Exterior wood surfaces to be stripped on the Lyon House (HS-08) include wood siding, trim, cornices, window bay, windows and doors of the historic, 2-story, wood frame house. Approximately 4,750 square feet of exterior surface is to be repainted. Stripped and unstripped surfaces, including two porches, metal gutters and downspouts, shall be given one coat of primer paint, and, two finish coats of exterior paint.
