Z -- ELECTRICAL AND FIRE ALARM REPAIR SOL DAKF19-96-B-0029 DUE 082696 POC Contract Specialist ROBERTA GRAVES (913) 239-0462 (Site Code DAKF19) The project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation to perform demolition of old electrical panels, electrical conduit, wiring, lighting and stub walls. Replace existing electrical distribution systems, relocate and install new electrical panels, reroute new electrical conduit, extend existing circuits to new electrical panel locations, install new addressable fire alarm system and connect existing system to new controller, replace existing fire alarm radio transceiver system, install lay-in ceilings and light fixtures in corridors, replace existing exit lights and install new emergency lighting, repair, lath and plaster, paint and/or re-finish damaged areas as specified. Install ADA approved door openers on existing handicap entry and replace ticket window in entry area. Invitation for Bid will be issued on or about 26 Jul 96 with bid opening on or about 26 Aug 96. Proposed contract will be firm fixed price type contract. The estimated cost is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1731, with the small business size standard being $7.0M in annual receipts.
