The work to be performed by this contract consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the Repairs to Miscellaneous Medical Facilities at Charleston AFB, SC. The work includes, but is not limited to the following major items of work which are listed for the contractors' convenience so they might determine the general scope of work involved. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following items: (1) Provide testing, adjusting and balancing of all building mechanical systems, including but not limited to air handling unit, air terminal devices, chilled water coils, hot water coils & reheat coils, pumps, boilers, chillers, supply, return and exaust fans, relief hoods, etc. (2) Rework, repair, and /or replace all missing or defective mechanical devices which currently render the HVAC system inoperable or not performing according to drawings (reference drawings) and specifications. These items include, but are not limited to VAV pneumatic actuators, tubing, and controllers. Also including, thermostats, control relays, modulating three-way valves and or actuators, differential logic relays, velocity pressure transmitters, flow switches, signal limiters, reversing relays, snap relays, timing relays, rigid and flexible ductwork, etc. This solicitation will be issued unrestricted.
