15 -- BEECH 1900D AIRCRAFT AND U-21 AIRCRAFT DUE 083196 POC Point of Contact for this action is Mr. Robert M. Deppe, ATCOM, ATTN: AMSAT-A-PNA, (314) 263-1031. The Army intends to acquire one or more Beech 1900D aircraft through an exchanged for 124 each U-21 aircraft, in flyable and non-flyable condition, and for U-21 components. These aircraft and equipment are no longer suitable for the Army's mission. The quantity of aircraft to be acquired is dependent upon the offeror's estimate of the value of the U-21 aircraft and components. The aircraft are currently located at Selma, AL and the components are at Canton, MS. Offerors will be invited to conduct a site survey. A competitive solicitation is scheduled to be available on or around 31 Jul 96. The Army will select that offer which maximizes the return for the exchange of aircraft and parts.
