The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) seeks a Contractor to furnish and install a shielded gradient coil of 150mm inside diameter and 20 gauss/cm to fit and operate within the existing S260 gradient coil of the 4.7Tesla magnet and in the S290 gradient coil of the 2.0Tesla magnet. The gradient coil must have an inside diameter of 15cm to 16cm and shall be compatible with the Government owned 4.7T/40 and 2T/45 Chemical Shift Imaging Spectrometers . The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3845. The award of a firm fixed-price type contract is anticipated. The contract period shall be approximately six (6) months. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about July 22, 1996.
