Wenzel tel: 210/652-3260/N/A CNT 96Q9625 DTD 072996 Air Education and Training Command (AETC) will hold an industry forum to discuss a requirement for quality, affordable housing for military personnel assigned to Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. Interested parties are being sought to design, construct, manage and maintain a housing community under the new authorities enacted in the 1996 Defense Authorization Act. There is also a requirement to demolish a minimum of 67 existing housing units and up to a maximum of 272 housing units. AETC will consider on-base and off-base sites for development. Government-owned land located on the base has been identified for possible use. The land consists of 66 acres of undeveloped land and 30 acres containing existing housing units. An industry forum will be held on July 29, 1996 at 9:00 A.M. in Arnold Hall Community Center, Building 5506, 1560 Stewart Street, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX to brief the conceptual profile of the project, visit the available sites, and obtain industry feedback.
