Furnish Architect/Engineer services (including planning consultations, site visits, and design work) to include working drawings, specifications, cost estimates, construction period services as required for replacement of Project No. 581-96-101.The intention of this project is for feasibility study, design and construction (3 preliminary design alternatives) of a water supply system to this medical center which will not require use of the existing elevated water tower, as well as renovations to the existing underground water reservoir and replacement of existing mains. Project will require design of the new water supply system, removal and disposal (including possible lead abatement) of the existing 100,000 gallon elevated water tower, and minor repairs to the existing 500,000 gallon reservoir. The Standard Industrial Code is 8712. Estimated construction cost range between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Interested firms shall submit a SF254 and SF255 to the issuing office no later than the close of business 7/31/96. This is not a request for proposal.
