Landfill 11 - Site Cover and Emergency Repair Storm Drainage - This project includes all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and performance necessary for the construction of a bypass/high flow channel around the weapon storage area to relieve flooding problems at McConnell AFB. Work includes, but is not limited to, the repair of existing errosion that has occurred to the bypass/high flow channel around the oil water separator. This project shall also include, as an option, the construction of a landfill site cover over an existing old landfill which involves site preparation of approximately 20 acres, removal of existing trees, culvert and road work, and completion with a land cap at McConnell AFB. The landfill option will be funded under the Defense Environmental Restoration Account (DERA). Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Anticipated issuance date for IFB Solicitation Number F14614-96-B0018 is 15 Jul 96. Tentative bid opening date is 14 Aug 96. Performance period will be 365 calendar days after receipt of the Notice of Proceed. Standard Classification Code (SIC) is 1629. This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis.
