The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a service contract for Non-Personal Service as an Art Therapist. Duties to be performed at the Federal Correctional Institution, Old Highway Road 75, Butner, NC 27509-1000. Services include, but are not limited to providing evaluation and treatment of inmates in accordance with specific treatment plans. Facilitate self awareness and self-expressions and provide therapeutic outlets by channeling stress into constructive means. Requirements include a minimum of a Masters Degree in Art Therapy from a recognized program. Familiarity with DSM-IV diagnosis, psychological treatment modalities and criminology is necessary. This contract will include a base year not to exceed (12) twelve months from date of award, with four (4), one (1) year option periods for renewal. Estimated number of sessions for the base year is 520 (one (1) session equals two (2) hours). Option year #1 estimated sessions is 520; Option year #2 estimated sessions is 520; Option year #3 estimated sessions is 520; Option year #4 estimated sessions is 520. The anticipated issue date of the Request for Proposal is July 22, 1996, with an anticipated receipt of offer due by August 12, 1996.
