The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a service contract for Non-Personal Service as an Infectious Disease Specialist. Duties to be performed at the Federal Correctional Institution, Old Highway Road 75, Butner NC 27509-1000. Services include, but are not limited to provide professional evaluation and treatment only in the field of Infectious Disease to inmates that are referred to the contractor by FCI Butner medical staff. Requirements include the contractor will be board certified in the field of Infectious Disease and hold a current state license that permits them to their specialty in the state of North Carolina. This contract will include a base year not to exceed (12) twelve months from date of award, with four (4), one (1) year option periods for renewal. Estimated number of sessions for the base year is 72 (six (6) sessions per month, one (1) session equals two (2) hours). Option year #1 estimated sessions is 72; Option year #2 estimated sessions is 72; Option year #3 estimated sessions is 72; Option year #4 estimated sessions is 64. The anticipated issue date of the Request for Proposal is July 22, 1996, with an anticipated receipt of offer due by August 12, 1996.
