The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a service contract for Non-Personal Service as an Orthopedic Surgeon. Duties to be performed at the Federal Correctional Institution, Old Highway Road 75, Butner, NC 27509-1000. Services include, but are not limited to providing professional evaluation and treatment in the field of Orthopedic Surgery to inmates that are referred to the contractor by FCI Butner medical staff. Requirements include the contractor will be board certified in the Field of Orthopedic Surgery and hold a current state license that permits them to practice their specialty in the state of North Carolina. This contract will include a base year not to exceed (12) twelve months from date of award, with four (4), one (1) year option periods for renewal. Estimated number of sessions for the base year is 12 (One (1) sessions per month, one (1) session equals four (4) hours). Option year #1 estimated sessions is 12; Option year #2 estimated sessions is 12; Option year #3 estimated sessions is 12; Option year #4 estimated sessions is 12. The anticipated issue date of the Request for Proposal is July 22, 1996 with an anticipated receipt of offer due by August 12, 1996.
