The work includes facilities to support the relocation of the 14TH Marine Division, Marine Air Guard 41 (MAG 41), and Mobile Inshore Undersea Warfare Unit 109(MIUW), from NAS Dallas to NAS Ft. Worth, formerly Carswell Air Force Base. These facilities are provided to support the Reserve Training Mission of the units and organizations listed. This project also involves renovation of two existing buildings atNAS Ft. Worth, and vehicle parking with a taxiway crossing system. The Buildings included in this package are Bldg. 4210 and Bldg. 4215. Building 4210 will house the 14th Marine Division and units of MAG 41. Building 4215 will house the MIUW and willalso provide a work bay equipped with an existing bridge crane for joint use by the 14th Marines, MAG 41, and MIUW. Also, this project will include POV (Personally Operated Vehicle) parking with an associated Taxiway Crossing System. This system willenable POV's to cross existing Taxiway C using traffic signalization. Estimated cost is $1 - 5 MILLION. Estimated duration of the contract is 365 calendar days for completion.(0184)
