for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is
contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which
payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the
part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made
available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the
Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in
writing by the Contracting Officer. The Contractor shall furnish all
labor, material and equipment necessary for renovation and expansion of
existing Building 306A, the NAVICP Fire and Police Department Facility.
The work shall generally consist of an addition to enlarge the existing
vehicle storage area and create a new training room and office for the
Fire Department, renovations to the existing bunk room, lounge and
toilet/shower facilities, and removal of the existing fire tower to the
adjacent roof level. Estimated price range: Between $1,000,000 and
$5,000,000. Number of days in contract: 240. Number of bid items: One
with unit price schedule. SIC Code 1542, General Contractors, $17.0
Million. This acquisition will be issued as Unrestricted and subject to
the evaluation criteria contained in DFAR 252.219-7003, Notice of
