The deck is prestressed concrete double tee sections supported by cast-in-place concrete pile caps on concrete piles. Handrails will be wood attached to steel posts. A concrete and steel gazebo, electrification and lighting, and incidental related work are also included. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 2 July 1996. A limited number of bid packages will be available and issued on a first come, first serve basis. A check or money order for $25.00 payable to the Treasury of the United States is required as a non-refundable charge for each set of bidding data. Written requests must be received in the office of the officer in Charge of construction no less than five (5) working days prior to bid opening if you want the bidding data mailed. I f your check is received less than five (5) working days prior to bid opening, we will attempt to contact you and afford you the opportunity to pick up a bid package.
