The scope of work for this project generally consists of recover of approximately 288,000 square feet of an existing EPDM roof system which includes the removal of the existing stone and concrete paver ballast from the existing EPDM roofing membrane system, replacement of damaged isocyanurate roof insulation in localized areas, installation of 3/4'' perlite roof insulation over the existing prepared EPDM membrane and mechanically secured through the existing roofing assembly to the steel roof deck, and installation of a polymer modified asphalt roofing membrane system in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations to provide a ten (10) year labor and material warranty. The work shall also include removal of the existing roofing assembly over the Computer Control Center and installation of a curb-type roofing assembly and dividers to isolate this area from the adjacent roof areas, and installation of a polymer modified asphalt membrane roofing system including related flashing and rigid insulation board.
