This solicitation invites proposals for replacement of the cooling towers at the Bulk Mail Center, 1921 Elvis Presley Blvd., Memphis, TN. Work includes, but is not limited to, removing the existing cooling towers, piping, valves, condenser pumps, duplex strainer and associated risers, and replace with new cooling tower and related piping, wiring, valves, insulation, controls, etc. as outlined in the specifications. Asbestos and lead paint abatement are included in this project. All work identified as additive bid items should be included in the base price proposal. Work will begin on or around December 1, 1996. The estimated cost of this project is between $410,000 and $500,000 with completion within 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
