Skipper, (912) 767-1868 (Site Code DAKF10) The Army requires a contract to Replace Fan-coil Controls, Pinwheel Barracks, Buildings 1275, 1276 and 1277, Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: (1) Replace copper runout piping and associated piping insulation for 792 above-ceiling fan-coil units. (2) Replace control components and valving for 792 fan- coil units, to include three-way diverting valves, shut-off valves, calibrated balance valves, bypass valves, changeover aquastats, room thermostats, fan speed control switches, and transformers. (3) Replace drain pans and auxilliary drain pans for 792 fan-coil units. (4) Replace defective fan-coil unit motors and switches to the extent specified in drawings. Performance shall be completed within 325 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The SIC for this project is 1711 ($7.0 Million). Anticipated award date is 30 September 1996 or earlier. All responsible business concerns may submit a bid which will be considered. There is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $50.00 for this solicitation.
