Estimated dollar range is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 dollars. Performance time is 210 calendar days from date of contract. Work to be performed under this IFB, consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary for the replacement of all windows on 148 military family housing units at Charleston AFB, SC. The work includes, but is not limited to the following major items of work which are listed for the contractor's convenience in order that he may determine the general scope of the work involved. Removal and replacement of all windows with clad wood windows. Repairs to exterior and interior finishes as a result of replacement of windows. Re-sizing of specific window types as identified on drawings. All request for this IFB shall be in writing and/or FAX'd to the attention of the contract specialist at (803) 566-2829. Telephone request will not be honored. This solicitation will be issued as unrestricted. Air mobility does not have sufficient authority to fund this project now. However, we expect to fund this project with FY96 funds. If FY96 funding is not available, we will use FY97 funds, and we expect to have funding by 15 Nov 96.
