Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to Renovate Building 216, Eglin AFB FL. Bid opening date of 03 Sep 96 is only an estimated date. This project includes complete renovation of the building to provide new offices. Construction work includes lead paint and asbestos abatement, demolition, construction of new interior partitions, installation of new doors, new floor, wall, and ceiling finishes and associated mechanical and electrical work. The work further includes new roofing, new exterior insulating finish, a new exterior recreation shelter, concrete sidewalk and handicapped parking. Construction time is 180 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business. Solicitation packages are available at a $20.00 charge. All requests must be submitted in writing.
