New work includes retrofitting the substations's existing low voltage power breakers with static trip units; new panelboards, motor control centers, exterior lighting fixtures and a dry type transformer. The work must be done in phases to ensure that all existing central heating plant functions remain in operation. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, transportation and equipment for a complete project. Plans and specifications will be available approximately 13 July 1996. The deadline for receipt of bids is only an estimated date. The estimated cost range for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
