The work includes upgrading the restrooms, upgrading the electrical and lighting systems, replacing the heating system, replacing the existing windows with energy efficient, low maintenance windows, replacing the over head doors with roll up doors, painting the exterior of the building and replacing the roof. Asbestos abatement and lead paint removal will be involved as part of the repair work. The estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. Plans and specs will be available o/a 18 July 96 and BOD is o/a 20 Aug 96. A non-refundable charge of $34 per solicitation package is required and checks should be made payableto the Dept Treasury c/o EFA Chesapeake.
