54 -- PORTABLE ACCLIMATION FISH TANKS SOL DACW68-96-B-0016 DUE 082096 POC Contract Specialist Cherie Douglas (509) 527-7219 (Site Code DACW68) Design, fabricate, and assemble one demonstration test tank. Tank will be an aluminum water tank 4-1/2 feet tall and 20 feet in diameter. Tank is to have provisions for water exit at the bottom center and water inlet on the top rim. Tank is to be built in component pieces so it can be disassembled for transport on federal, state and county highways and roads, and reas- sembled at other locations. After award of contract, which is to be a basic year plus two option years, the demonstration tank shall be fabri- cated, assembled and filled with water for inspection by the Government. Assembly of the demonstration tank shall be at the contractors' fabrication site. After the demonstration tank has met Government approval, the Gov- ernment may place one or more delivery orders for one or more tanks to be fabricated, delivered and installed by the contractor at site(s) in the Pacific Northwest. Installation sites will likely be in the general vicin- ity of central Idaho, Northeast Oregon and Southeastern Washington within approximately 100 miles from the Snake River. P(0185)
