The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Patuxent River, MD has a requirement for one (1) Terametrix desktop telemetry station, part number P5100D/V1GBR/9126.67; and four (4) 16-channel digital-to-analog cards, part number 9135. This is a combined synopsis/request for quotes for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; REQUESTS FOR QUOTES ARE SOLICITED WITH THIS ANNOUNCEMENT; AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is request for quotation (RFQ) no. N00421-96-Q-1046. Procurement will be made via a DPAS ''DO'' rated Government purchase order, which will incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37/Defense Acquisition Circular 91-10. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small businesses; the applicable SIC code is 5734. Quotations offered in response to this RFQ shall be in the following format: CLIN 0001-one (1) Terametrix desktop telemetry station, part number P5100D/V1GBR/9126.67; CLIN 0002-four (4) 16-channel digial-to-analog cards, part number 9135. Due to the URGENCY of the Government's test schedule associated with these items, delivery to NAWCAD, Patuxent River, MD (this requirement's acceptance and FOB point) is required by NLT 29 July 1996. FAR clauses: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5/252.212-7001(a) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The following provisions of clause 52.212-5 are also incorporated by reference in this acquisition: 52.203-10, 52.222-26, 52.225-3 and 201-39.5202-3 (which identifies that this acquisition is being conducted under the regulatory delegation of GSA's exclusive authority for FIP resources). This requirement is for the specified brand name/part numbered items only; as such the ''low cost/technically acceptable'' decision rule is the basis for the evaluation of quotes. Quoters will be required to complete FAR clause 52.212-3 and DFARS clause 252.212-7000 Offer Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. QUOTES ARE DUE NLT 23 JULY 1996; the Government anticipates placing its purchase order immediately thereafter.
