This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested from Army Times Publishing Company, and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number is F01600-96-Q3037; award will be made using the simplified acquisition procedures. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37. This acquisition is other than full and open competition (sole source). This office intends to award a purchase order to Army Times Publishing Company, Springfield VA. The standard industrial classification is 2711 and the size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation line item is as follows: Line Item 0001: Subscriptions to Air Force Times for a period of one year, beginning 1 September 1996 and ending 31 August 1997. Quantity: 609 subscriptions to be mailed to 609 addresses for Air Force Junior ROTC units throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. FOB: Destination to 609 respective locations; Delivery: Beginning with September 1996 issue; Inspection and Acceptance: 609 AFJROTC units (HQ AFROTC, Maxwell AFB AL will be POC). The provision FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offers--Commercial Items (Oct 1995), and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items (Oct 1995) apply to this acquisition. There is no addenda to those provisions.
