Fitch Contracting Officer, 708-216-2606 A/E services needed to prepare final design, drawings, specifications and the cost estimate for the following work at Building 200 of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward Hines Hospital, Hines Illinois 60141, (Hines Il.,is located approximately 13 miles west of Downtown Chicago): Services shall include, but are not limited to the design development, working drawings, contract documents, cost estimate and construction period services needed to provide a dedicated air cooled water chiller with emergency back up power,for the operating room. Design shall meet the latest HVAC criteria and be based on a HVAC study which was recently performed. Design shall also include providing a back-up water pump and the replacement of the cooling tower. Current system is approximately 25 years old. Firms experienced in this type of work and located within a 100 mile radius of Hines Illinois are requested to submit a SF-254 & SF-255 (to this hospital) as well as documentation showing successful completion of at least three similar type jobs by close of business August 5, 1996.
