This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS for Logistics Maintenance Services(LMS) in support of the Government of Kuwait F/A-18 Aircraft including equipment and weapons. This synopsis is being issued in an attempt to develop a full and open competitive environment for the acquisition of LMS for the specific program identified herein should it become an official procurement. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL PROCUREMENT AND THEREFORE THERE IS NO SOLICITATION. The sources sought is published in order that potential sources be identified for future potential procurement of LMS for Government of Kuwait. This synopsis is seeking Logistics Maintenance Services(LMS) personnel in support of Government of Kuwait F/A-18 program. LMS personnel shall provide support to the following: Kuwait F/A-18 Organizational and Intermediate levels of maintenance, supply support services, quality assurance of maintenance, supply and equipment, On-The Job(OJT), and maintenance/material documentation. Support will provide a workforce that augments existing Kuwait organic personnel. Systems to be supported include but are not limited to: Avionics, airframes, powerplants, aviation life support system, and related support equipment. Firms may respond to the address cited above, indicating an interest in the potential procurement. All work will be accomplished in Kuwait. Currently work is being performed under contract N00140-93-C-AC72. In addition to the above and incidental to the services, the contractor will also be required to provide and maintain a U.S. Navy approved and NAMP compatible Aviation ADP system similar to NALCOMIS. If the contractor does not possess such a system NALCOMIS software will be made available. The contractor will be required to install hardware and software.
