Solicitation number GS06K96BNC0119 is being issued as a request for proposal (RFP) for training services to support the Timeplex Federal Systems, Inc. equipment. Some of the equipment is to be installed at RAF Coughton, UK for the InterconnectFacility Upgrade. The training courses are scheduled for August 19, 1996, to September 23, 1996. Instructor costs include: travel, rental car and per diem at the current JTR rates. The following are the services requested for the UK: CLIN 1. Coursenumber C3307, Link Operations, 10 Personnel. Coursenumber C3319, Timeview 2000 Admin, 10 Personnel. CLIN 6. Course number C3326, TX3/Superhub System, 10 Personnel. The rest of the equipment is to be installed at Misawa AB, Japan for Interconnect Facility upgrade. The training courses in Japan are tobegin in October, 1996. Instructor costs include: travel, rental car and per diem at the current JTR rates. The following are the services requested for Japan: CLIN 7. Course number C3318, Timeview 3000 NMS, 10 Personnel. CLIN 8. Course number C3326,TX3/Superhub System, 10 Personnel. Offeror must provide proof of ability to deliver referenced requirements AND a letter from Timeplex stating that offeror is an authorized Timeplex trainer. Date of Delivery and acceptance 30 days ARO. FOB RAFCoughton, UK and Misawa AB, Japan. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, instructions to offerors, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation is based on best value, cost and ability to meet service requirements. Offerors shall include a completed copy of theprovision at FAR 52.212-3, offeror representation and certification - commercial items with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, contract terms and conditions - commercial items applies to this acquisition. In addition to the guidance contained inFAR 52.212-4, contractors shall submit proof of delivery with their invoices. Proof of delivery may be in the form of a bill of lading or other shipping document signed by the receiving office. Invoices received without proof of delivery will not beaccepted.
