This is an Pre-Solicitation Notice: The work includes the removal and disposal of forced draft fans and motors induced-draft fan motors, boiler components, ductwork, interior electrical conduit and wiring, field control devices and associated wiring and paving and earth fills. The work also includes the removal and relocation of piping conduits and wire and miscellaneous instruments, controls, valves and accessories. The work also includes excavation and backfilling and paving, building and equipment foundations, boiler modifications, new boiler breeching and supports, reinforced concrete work, structural and miscellaneous metal work, metal building including framing, insulation, preformed metal roof and siding, steel doors and frames, louvers, heating and ventilation systems, lighting, power-wiring, and finish hardware. The work also includes the provision of dual-fuel (natural gas and fuel oil) burners with new burner management control systems, interior and exterior fuel piping, wall and floor pentrations and flashing, control systems and modification to existing control systems, fire alarm system modifications and addition, sprinkler system modification and additions supports, and incidental related interior and exterior work. The work also includes the provision of a fuel oil delivery system including connections to existing storage tanks, above and underground piping and electrical work, leak detection systems, pumps, valves, control, reporting and alarm systems, grounding, drainage systems, oil-water separator, painting and coating systems, start-up, testing of the systems and incidental related work. Converted boilers will be required to demonstrate compliance with specified emissions standards and ability to perform at maximum continuous rating. Estimated cost range: $1,000,000 - $5,000,000.
