PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The work includes demolition, removal and disposal of Building 494's cement asbestos board siding and second story windows (lead based paint is present), installation of metal siding and flashing, installation of structural steel wall girt framing and sag rods (in way of second story window removal), removal and reinstallation of gutters, downspouts, and miscellaneous electrical items in way of siding work, and incidental related work. During the performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be encountered. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 30 July 1996 at no charge until supplies are exhausted. The approximate Bid Opening date is 29 August 1996. Performance time is 120 calendar days. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1761. The related small business size standard is $7 million.
