The Standard Industrial Code (SIC), for this project is 1711 - Plumbing, Heating (Except Electric) and Air Conditioning. The size standard is $7.0 Million. The work includes replace fluoride feed system at the water treatment plant. Provide new fluoride storage area. Replace backwash valve, meter and control equipment. Waterproof the backwash valve vault. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is 23 July 1996. The projected bid opening date is 22 August 1996. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick up a copy of the plans and specs at the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction, Building 2004, Room 253, Quantico, Virginia.
