The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this project is 1542, General Contractors - Nonresidential Buildings, Other than Industrial Buildings and Warehouses. The size standard is $17 Million. The work includes replacement of roofs 1303, 3229 and 3500. This project will remove the existing EPDM and built-up roofs on three buildings and replace with new modified bitumen roofs. The project will also include the removal of any abandoned mechanical equipment on the roofs. There will be a charge for these documents to be determined at a later date. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick-up a copy of the plans and specifications at Building 212, First Floor, Plans and Specs Room at the Washington Navy Yard. The hours of operation of the Plans/Specs room are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday thru Friday. Please note the plans and specifications will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are exhausted. Requests for bidders lists must be made separately.
