Drecktrah, Contracting Officer (Site Code W81U9B) This Request for Quotation is for providing all labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision required to reroof four (4) buildings located at Fort Pickett, Blackstone, VA in accordance with specifications and sketches attached to the quotation. The project includes removal of all the existing roofing and felt down to wood on the four buildings as specified. Each roof is approximately 4300 sq ft with a 2 ft overhang. New roofs shall consist of one layer of 15 lb felt nailed and one layer of 90 lb per square roll roofing. All metal flashing shall be reused/replaced if deteriorated by contractor. Magniture of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A payment bond of 50% will be required on award. Performance time is 55 calendar days. Requests for this quotation must be in writing accompanied by a non-refundable certified check, cashier's check or money order made payable to the US Treasury in the amount of $8.00 per package. No company, personal, registered checks or cash shall be accepted. Request should be received before the issue date of 22 July 1996. Closing date will be COB 19 August 1996 to the Contracting Office.
