Eglin AFB has a requirement to replace the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system in Bldg 914, Eglin AFB, FL. This project includes an upgrade to the HVAC system and installing a new fire alarm in Bldg. 914. The work will consist of removing the existing air handling units and boiler. The work will require removal of ductwork and piping which contains asbestos. The new work includes two Variable Air Volume (VAV) air handling systems with new air cooled chiller, boiler, pumps, piping and ductwork. The work includes new ceilings for the area of new ductwork and patching required for renovation type project. Contract will be for a period of 105 calendar days. Bid opening date of 3 Sep 96 is only an estimated date. Estimated range of project is $100K - 250K. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business. Solicitation packages are available at a $20.00 charge. All requests must be submitted in writing.
