Heath The solicitation will replace one hundred forty (140) power poles that are in either bad condition, or poor condition but have crossarms that are in bad or poor condition. The project will provide new poles, crossarms, ground conductors and rods. Reuse insulators, guys, and other equipment where possible. Make miscellaneous repairs, as directed; and, replace twenty-seven (27) obsolete transformer ''H-Platform'' installations with pad-mounted transformers. Provide new pole and crossarms for riser. Provide direct buried duct (with spare) on primary and secondary. This solicitation has been classified as UNRESTRICTED pursuant to Public Law 100-656. Estimated Cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Estimated duration of the contract is 210 days for completion. Plans and Specifications will be available on or about 18 JULY 1996.
